Over a year ago, I began this blog with a single post... and well, I forgot about it! ...Until today when I was entering in a giveaway from a dear friend and my own blog popped up! I was so surprised! And I have to say, "This is the beginning of a long and beautiful friendship!"
To start out with, I will begin by telling you a little about myself, my family, and the intention of this blog. I am a stay-at-home mom, and an inspiring writer. I have a great and hilarious husband who I enjoy everyday! He is definitely a quite strength for me! I also have a growing little girl, Evelyn Grace, who is now 20 months and a little boy who is growing inside of me (I am 20 wks along!). Since I was young I've always loved to laugh, to digest good stories, and I've always loved children. I am extremely blessed to have all three in my life right now. I know not every woman can, or wants to, stay at home with their young children, and it's has definitely been a long growing process for me, but I'm slowly finding the blessing!
The purpose of this blog is that I've wanted a place where I can come and "put" my thoughts. Since becoming a mother in July, 2008, so many new and wonderful things have happened, and I want a place where I could place my feelings about them or record precious moments throughout the day. Well, sadly, I've no record now of my daughter's first year on here, or my own growing as a wife and new mother, but I look forward to writing my memories of her growing and maturing into the little toddler she is today. I also want this blog to be a place where my family can come and peer into our lives from outside, and not feel like they need to call first!
All I can say is, Welcome to our little corner of the world! Take your shoes off, and rest!
